Moving information between your student information system (SIS) and Meal Magic Cloud is easy when you integrate DataDrop into the process. In most cases, you simply tell your SIS what information to send to us and when, give it your DataDrop credentials, and that’s it. Your SIS generates a file, uploads it to our dedicated server, and our system handles importing. If you want to pull information, configure your SIS to perform a data pull using your DataDrop credentials and our export file name.

We offer two specific DataDrop services: Customers, for communicating with your SIS, and Deposits, for communicating with third-party payment processors. Both services operate the same, just with different information and credentials. By separating the processes by type of information, it’s much easier to minimize what information gets shared and with whom.

Unlike our legacy Cloud Web Service API helper, the use of DataDrop can free you from configuring batch files, writing scripts, scheduling events, and maintaining other support structures. DataDrop also can eliminate the need to maintain an SFTP server between your SIS and Meal Magic Cloud, making data exchanges faster and less complicated.
